Google is showing great videos embedded in search results
The next time you do a search for video content , instead of YouTube results you are accustomed to see you can get a large built that is reproducible within the search results page video. Here's an example of what it looks like:
The new feature is live now and this kind of result can be repeated for almost any song of their choice , as I did several searches for popular songs and all returned the same type of embedded video .
This new feature seems only to work with the songs , however , at least at this point. I did some tests by finding other video content , including movie trailers, clips of popular YouTube users , etc and none of them returned a large built as seen above video .
It will be fascinating to see how this new feature develops. As Google changes highlight video content in a big way ( literally) , optimizing video search and create more video content can become more important than ever . Or maybe it will never evolve beyond help users find their favorite songs faster.
We have to wait and see, but we have to love Google always adding something new to keep us on our toes !
